Africa’s billionaire class is witnessing a surge, with collective wealth soaring to US$105 billion, up from US$82.4 billion last year. Led by Aliko Dangote, whose fortune nearly doubled to more than US$25 billion, the number of billionaires has also increased from 20 to 22, according to the latest Forbes listings.
